• What is PurpleUdder.com?

  PurpleUdder.com is a free classifieds listing system for buyers and sellers in the dairy industry to come together. We offer free, moderated listings with a focus specifically on the dairy industry.

• Why do you moderate your ads?

  We work hard to provide a relevant site for both buyers and sellers of used dairy equipment. To prevent much of the rampant spamming that seems to occur on unmoderated classifieds platforms we moderate every ad prior to it going live on our site.

• Does PurpleUdder take a commission when an item sells?

  No, we do not take a commission off of sales. All listings are commission-free.

• Is there a fee to list on PurpleUdder.com?

  No, it is free to list dairy-related equipment and cattle on Purple Udder. We do however offer Premium listings and Featured Ads for sellers looking for maximum exposure and a quicker sale.

• I just posted an ad to Purple Udder but it is not appearing on the site. What do I do?

  All ads are moderated prior to going live on the PurpleUdder site. It may take up to 24 hours for your ad to go live. You will receive an email notification once your ad has been approved.

  If your ad has still not gone live after 24 hours please email us at info@purpleudder.com so that we can look into the issue further.

• How do I delete or modify my ad(s) on PurpleUdder.com?

  In order to remove your ad from PurpleUdder you can do 1 of 2 things:

  1. Log in to your account at https://canada.purpleudder.com/login, scroll down to "Your Ads", select the ad you want to edit or remove and then go ahead and edit the ad or click "Delete Ad" at the bottom of the page. 

  2. If you did not choose to generate a user account when you posted your ad, simply search your email inbox for "Purple Udder" and find the ad confirmation email we send you when your ad is posted. This email will contain a link that will allow you to modify or delete your ad.

• Why is there a weird string of numbers and letters in the "reply-to" email address?

  In order to protect the email addresses of buyers and sellers we route all communication through email servers. 

  The long string of numbers in the "reply-to" email address is simply an email masking system that prevents buyers and sellers from easily obtaining or skimming email addresses. 

• Is there a Purple Udder app available?

  Yes! We've built a Purple Udder app in order to make it even easier to post ads, message buyers and sellers, save ads to your favorites and much more!
